Getting started:

Getting your website up and running is a very simple process (for you). In order to provide insight into the process, please follow the step by step guide below which provides a simplistic overview of the process for establishing your own web presence.

STEP 1 – The hardest part – contact us

We will ask for specific information that will help us understand what type of website you are looking for and what types of designs you may be interested in. We will also ask you specific information about your business, i.e. where are you located, what area(s) do you cover and so forth.

STEP 2 – Domain registration and Hosting

After we have discussed your requirements and preferences for a domain name i.e. do you want the domain to be your company name? Would you prefer a .com or .co.uk (for example, www.freebusinesswebs.com or www.freebusinesswebs.co.uk) We will register your new domain and set up hosting (this is where your website information is stored).

STEP 3 – Website Design Draft

This is where the work begins (for us that is). Having taken into consideration your website design requirements and website design preferences, we will begin to create your business website. Depending on the complexity of the site, a draft site will be made available to you within just a few working days. Sites that require multiple images or complex designs will take longer, should this be the case we will identify this to you at an early stage.

STEP 4 – Your review

Having been provided a draft of your website, we provide you some time to consider the layout and colour schemes of the website design. Once you are happy with the design or discussed the changes that you would like made, we will process onto the penultimate stage.

STEP 5 – Website Design Proper

Having taken into consideration your website design requirements, website design preferences and feedback taken from the review stage, we will finalise your business website. Depending on the complexity of the site, a draft site will be made available to you within just a few working days.

STEP 6 – Promulgation

Having completed your site, the finished article will be submitted for upload to all major search engines as well as numerous other valid search engines which will help to drive traffic to your new business website. At this point, you should start to consider promoting your website, either through traditional means (flyers, newspaper adverts etc), or via the internet. Should you decide to advertise e through the internet, we can provide advice on the best way of achieving the maximum returns on your investment.

Please bare in mind that this is a simplified overview.  Complex sites with numerous facilities and capabilities will repeat steps 3 and 4 several times before the website design is right.  In addition to website design we will also provide you (on request) with complimentary flyers and posters to help promote your new business website (design provided only, you are responsible for arranging printing and distribution of any media provided).
